Meet Alexa Henderson (nee Segerius)
Alexa is an Accredited Family Law Specialist with experience in all facets of family law.
Her areas of expertise include high net wealth property settlements, children's matters, allegations of sexual abuse and family violence.
Alexa’s approach is solution oriented. She is committed to exploring the best possible outcomes for her clients with a view to avoiding unnecessary stress and cost. Her key strength is her ability to relate to and empathise with her clients, whilst still providing them with guidance through the process.
Alexa was admitted to practice in 2011 and joined Hargreaves Family Lawyers as Special Counsel in mid-2019 after 9 years at one of Melbourne’s largest Family Law firms.
In October 2021 Alexa was appointed as a Partner of the firm.
Alexa has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Biological Science from Deakin University.
She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and has recently been acknowledged in the Doyles Guide as one of Melbourne’s Recommended Lawyers in relation to Parenting and Children’s matters.
